Check in / at the airport
Airport check-in begins two hours before flight departure. It is important to be on the airport in time, check-in closes to 1 – 1 ½ hours before flight departure, see your travel documents. Variations may occur, therefore always check your travel documents. Abroad, you must be at the airport at least two hours before departure. Departure time is indicated on the travel documents, which must be presented at check-in.

When traveling to the United States, we recommended that you arrive at the airport a minimum of 3 hours before departure, because of security and passenger information that the airlines update with the American authorities.
In the increasingly carried out safety checks at airports worldwide. Knives, scissors and other sharp objects must be packed in baggage checked in for carriage in the plane’s cargo hold. New security rules have been introduced which means that it is now only allowed to bring limited quantities of liquids in hand luggage. Note that the flight captain has the right to refuse passengers who are not deemed able to participate in the flight, for example, intoxicated persons or persons deemed a threat to safety on board. Rejection may occur even after check-in.

Timetables
The timetables are provisional and are listed in local times. What time is right is clear from the ticket. Beach Travel is not responsible for any missed flight due to changes in schedules or delayed flights. For travel on a regular flight, you need to check the times with the airline and reconfirm your reservation.

Seating on the plane
BeachTravels doesn’t pre-book seats on flights. Typically, those who check in together get seats next to each other. Locations next to each other can not be guaranteed.
We recommend people with various disabilities and specific requests to contact us.

Luggage
The aircraft’s payload and cargo space is limited. Along with your travel documents, you also get information about the number of allowable bags, baggage allowance, etc. during your flight.
During the flight, you are responsible for your luggage. Remember to pack in a manner that protects fragile items. If it is possible in terms of weight and size, you should put fragile items in hand luggage as well as medications and valuables. Remember that you may have a limited amount of liquids in hand luggage. As fluid count drinks, perfume, lotion, spray cans, toothpaste, etc. Each container can contain up to 100 ml and should fit in one transparent re-sealable bag no larger than 1 liter.
Hand baggage weight must not exceed 5 kg and the bag must be no larger than 45x35x20 cm. All flights accept one hand luggage per person.
Golf equipment, bicycles, skis and other special baggage is not included in the free baggage allowance. Golf Bag / bike may weigh no more than 15 kg and contain only golf clubs and golf balls. The space for golf luggage / bikes is limited on some flights,  golf / bike can be booked in advance, which we recommend.

Damaged / Lost Baggage
Would any of the checked baggage be damaged or lost, you must report it immediately. Note that a special notification, P.I.R. (Property Irregularity Report) must be written at the airport for the insurance companies to process any claims. If the damage is not detected at the airport some airlines receive notification within 7 days of homecoming. Contact the staff at the destination to get help with rent equipment.

In flight food
In flight food does not generally include in the tour price. Most airlines offer special meals, vegetarian, diabetic diet, etc.
Please note that airlines do not accept that your own food or beverages consumed on board the plane.

Goods on board
The purchases made on board is a contract directly between you and the airline. Remember to check what you have got before the seal is broken and complain on the spot if something is wrong. Faults are discovered after the event, please contact the airline directly. Note that all airlines do not offer duty-free goods.

Delay
Unfortunately, all airlines run into delays.  In such cases BeachTravels and the airlines use every effort to mitigate the effects. You can not expect to receive compensation for missed connection, travel by taxi when you return home or stay over in hotels, nor for any telephone charges. A complete travel insurance may in some cases award damages. When delays occur, we urge you to have a good margin (at least 2 hours) if you have booked a direct connection with the following public transit to your home town. If someone will meet you at homecoming, we suggest that they contact the airport, or visit the CAA website, www.lfv.sefor information about current arrival time.

Health
All our tours include some form of physical activity. It is the passenger’s responsibility to consult with the doctor, in advance of departure, about their physical status. BeachTravels takes no responsibility for any resulting injuries or diseases that led to the traveler is not able to complete the trip activities due to injuries or illnesses. Every traveler should be sure to have adequate insurance.

We recommend that you bring your European Health Insurance Card which entitles you to medical treatment in another EU / EEA countries.

Travel Insurance
No insurance is included in the trip. Traveler is required to ensure that she holds a full insurance cover.

Program Changes
Changes in the ordered arrangement may occur even the last days before departure. For example, a plane might be delayed in another part of the world – with delays and schedule changes as a result. In other cases, a pool might break and require time-consuming repairs. It also happens that new hotel construction is started, without warning, and blocks the view of the sea. As soon as the events that causes substantial changes in the arrangement come to our attention we will notify you in writing or by telephone. If the change is of critical importance to the event’s implementation, we reserve the right to offer another trip or to reimburse all, or part of, the price etc. Tours, tournaments, theater, soccer and similar events may change for reasons beyond our control. Such changes can occur at very short notice and do not always constitute the basis for repayment.

Travel documents
Always check confirmation / ticket! Here are all the details of the booked arrangement. If anything should be unclear or not consistent with what you have booked, it is important that you immediately contact us. Be sure to check that it is wrong and last name and the names are spelled correctly, in accordance with your passport. The airlines charge a fee of 200 SEK up to 1 000 or more for name changes or modification of misspelled names. However, we wish to alert you that usually regular airlines do not accept name changes or changes of name that is misspelled. Some hotels does not accept name changes, or charge a fee for it.

Passenger rights
Air passenger rights in overbooked, canceled and delayed flights
Under EC Regulation 261/2004 on passenger rights, these rights to compensation and assistance from the airline for denied boarding and of cancellation or long delays. Note that if the flight is part of a package holiday, the provisions of the Package Travel Act.
In brief, the following rules:
RESERVATION OF / DENIED BOARDING
Airlines often sell more tickets than there are seats on board because it usually always happens that passengers do not show up.

If the airline has reason to believe that situation requires denied boarding, the airline must first ask if any, against compensation, voluntarily waives its place. The volunteers have been doing so, beyond the agreed compensation, the right to re-routing and / or refund.

If no sign up voluntarily, passengers denied boarding against their will. In such cases the passenger is entitled to a refund or rebooking to the final destination as soon as possible or at a later time the passenger’s convenience.

All passengers denied boarding, shall be offered food and drink in a reasonable relation to waiting time and the hotel room if you need accommodation and transport between airport and hotel.

Furthermore, the passenger denied boarding, compensation is given according to the following scale:

250¤ for all flights of 1 500 km
400¤ for all flights within the EU of more than 1500 km and for all other flights between 1 500 and 3 000 km
600¤ for all other flights

The compensation is reduced by 50% when the passengers are offered re-routing to another flight to their destination and arrival time which does not exceed the scheduled arrival time of the flight originally booked:

with two hours for all flights of 1500 km, or
with three hours for all flights within the EU of more than 1500 km and for all other flights between 1 500 and 3 500 km, or
by four hours for all other flights.
CANCELLATION
For cancellation, the passenger is entitled to a refund or rebooking to the final destination as soon as possible or at a later time the passenger’s convenience.

Passengers shall be offered food and drink in a reasonable relation to waiting times and rates, if necessary, of accommodation and transport between airport and hotel.

Except as provided below, the passengers are also entitled to compensation according to the following scale:

250¤ for all flights of 1 500 km
400¤ for all flights within the EU of more than 1500 km and for all other flights between 1 500 and 3 000 km
600¤ for all other flights

The compensation is reduced by 50% when the passengers are offered re-routing to another flight to their destination and arrival time which does not exceed the scheduled arrival time of the flight originally booked:

with two hours for all flights of 1500 km, or
with three hours for all flights within the EU of more than 1500 km and for all other flights between 1 500 and 3 500 km, or
by four hours for all other flights

No compensation will be paid:

First of the cancellation “due to extraordinary circumstances which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken”,

Second the passengers informed of the cancellation at least two weeks before the scheduled departure,

Third the passengers informed of the cancellation between two weeks and seven days before the scheduled departure and simultaneously offered allowing them to depart no more than two hours before the scheduled time of departure and to reach its final destination within four hours after the scheduled arrival time;

4th the passengers informed of the cancellation less than seven days before the scheduled departure and offered simultaneously allowing them to depart no more than an hour before the scheduled time of departure and to reach its final destination within two hours after the scheduled arrival time;
DELAYS
In case of delay the airline has no obligation to pay compensation in the form of cash. The right to assistance from the airline depends on both the length of arrears, and the distance traveled.

When a flight is delayed:

with two hours for all flights of 1500 km, or
with three hours for all flights within the EU of more than 1500 km and for all other flights between 1 500 and 3 500 km, or
by four hours for all other flights

passenger has the right to food and drink in a reasonable relation to waiting times and rates, if necessary, of accommodation and transport between airport and hotel.

Is flight more than five hours late, passengers can request a refund for the full fare or for the part of the journey not made.
TRAVEL WITH AIRLINE FROM NON-EU COUNTRIES
The above rules apply to travel from an EU airport or flying from a third country if the flight is conducted by an airline from an EU country. In all other cases, you should contact the airline and ask what rules apply.

COMPLAINT
The Consumer Agency is the national regulatory authority in Sweden for the regulation. You must therefore turn to the Consumer Agency, if you are not satisfied with the assistance you received from the airline.

Passports and Visas
For destinations that require visas to travelers informed U.S.
Sweden is part of the so-called Visa Waiver Program, which means that you may travel visa free travel to America.
Current rules
To the United States requires a passport that is machine readable. No provisional passports are accepted. For children require their own passport. New passports issued after October 26, 2006 must contain biometric information.If you have a passport issued before that date, it is sufficient that it is machine readable.
From 1 January 2009 it is mandatory for such Swedish citizens to get their entry into the United States approved prior to departure. Application is made electronically on the Internet in advance of departure through the new system ESTA.Go to the ESTA website https://esta.cbp.dhs.govand fill out an application in English.
Most Scandinavian citizens do not need a visa to the United States. Note Visa Freedom only applies if you are born Scandinavian citizens. Travelers of other nationalities than Swedish should check what applies to the American Embassy or her own authority

On entry to America, a digital photograph and fingerprints to be registered on each traveler. The procedure is repeated on departure. This will take one extra minute per passenger.

Have you booked a flight through us to the USA, we send out a special form that you fill in your passport details at. This is mandatory when the airlines require this for entry into the United States.

Rest of world
Passport and visa requirements vary from country to country and may change at short notice. We recommend that you contact the respective country’s embassy for correct and valid information in good time before departure.

Generally, we recommend the following with regard to passports:
– The passport should be valid at least six months after departure from the country in question
– The passport shall contain at least two blank pages (ie, unused pages, one page) for each country you visit

Privacy and Security

Personal Information
We store all personal information under the Personal Data Act (PUL). We will use information collected to fulfill commitments to you. This may involve contacting you in order to provide information about your booking, if any.changes and to send offers for marketing purposes.

When you make a booking with us, we store the following information: First Name, Last Name, Gender, Address, Postal Code, Date of birth, Home / Work Phone, Cell Phone, E-mail address.

When you sign up for our newsletter we only save your name and email address. This information will only be used to send e-mails to you.

Publication of the participants, division of the training groups, room divisions, etc. are published with full name of the specific section of the website BeachTravels. See the actual destination. Please let us know when booking if you do not wish that your first and last name published on beachtravels.se before the trip.

BeachTravels will not disclose your personal information to third parties.

By booking a trip with BeachTravels, you agree that we use personal information as described above.
